The 2022 Building Performance Analysis Conference and SimBuild has announced a call for presentations. The conference takes place September 14-16 in Chicago, Illinois and is co-sponsored by ASHRAE and IBPSA-USA. The theme for the conference is “Better Buildings, Less Carbon: Supporting the Transition to A Clean and Just Climate”.
Building performance professionals and practitioners are invited to submit proposals for individual presentations between 15-25 minutes in length or 60-90 minute panel or seminar sessions. Proposals can cover a broad range of topics addressing the needs of the building performance analysis community. Creative and interactive presentation formats are strongly encouraged.

- Modeling Advances - Tools and Workflows
- Modeling Existing Buildings
- Modeling for Carbon and Embodied Energy
- Modeling of Adaptation Strategies
- Occupant Health, Wellbeing and Comfort
- Urban and Community Scale Modeling
Presentation proposals must include an abstract, learning objectives and methods of assessment and are due April 4, 2022. If accepted, presentations will be due July 18th 2022. All speakers are expected to present their work in person at the conference venue.
