The 2024 ASHRAE Conference for Integrated Design, Construction and Operations (CIDCO) has announced a call for presentations. The conference takes place June 24-26, 2024 in Indianapolis, IN., in conjunction with the 2024 ASHRAE Annual Conference. The conference provides an in-depth look at existing tools and applied knowledge, as well as the study and introduction of new technologies including machine learning, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and robotics to design, construct and operate buildings.
Modelers, owners, principals, architects, designers, engineers, contractors, analysts and students are all invited to submit presentation proposals. Creative and interactive presentation formats are strongly encouraged.
The 2024 CIDCO Steering Committee requests the following submission types:
- Individual presentations: On projects, case studies, use of software tools, examples of integrated design, research, or career/business development topics. (10-20 min)
- Panel: 3-4 industry experts, including one moderator, on a current topic of interest or team case study. Only one slide deck per panel required. (90 min)
- Seminar: 1-4 speakers and session Chair, on one of the conference topics. Individual slide decks for each speaker required. (60-90 min)
(If you would like to submit a proposal that does not align with the requirements of the three submission types outlined above, we would encourage you to submit your proposal as a seminar noting that it does not align with the standard seminar format.
We will gladly consider the proposal just as we will consider all other seminar, panel and individual presentation submissions. Please be sure to include a brief description of the proposed session type to accompany your description of the session content.)
